A place of soul and history
A 5-star hotel combining heritage and contemporary luxury. The 5-star boutique hotel Les Lumières, neighbor of the illustrious Château de Versailles, was born from the merger of two historic pavilions named Gramont and Villacerf.
The lands were initially donated by Louis XIV in the 17th century, to Antoine III de Gramont, Marshal of France and Édouard Colbert, Marquis de Villacerf, Councilor of State.
The Gramont pavilion was fully reconstructed in the 19th century while Villacerf was converted into the Hôtel des Voyageurs around 1820 & refurnished in the beginning of the 20th century.
The façade, the 1907 staircase and details of the Café Pierre Hermé, like immortal guardians of history, reveal the brilliance of the Grand Siècle.
